Amanda Leon is an enthusiastic artist, educator, and social media influencer from New Jersey. Her passion for the arts and creative expression started at a young age, influenced by her music loving family and Puerto Rican-American culture. From singing karaoke at home and songwriting to joining the performing arts programs offered through public school to community theater, Amanda discovered the power of self expression and its impact on her soul grew.

 

Amanda's love for music developed professionally as she studied music education at The College of New Jersey, her voice as her primary instrument and piano as her secondary instrument. The education, experience, and exposure she attained inspired her to pursue her own music artist and coaching career. Music has always meant connection to the inner soul, freedom and empowerment of self, a form of healing, a means of universal human connection, and a unique transfer of energy to her. Thus, guiding others through the magic of music and inspiring future generations through mentorship to follow their heart is something she is very passionate about. 

 

Amanda is blossoming into her career. She is a multi-talent in the industry, currently pursued in California, recording and writing her own songs, training with top nationwide viral actors, dancers, singers, and coaches. She is currently offering music mentorship to K-12+, featuring in the projects of fellow creatives, all as she pursues her own musical journey. Her faith guides her through her life journey, as she practices what she preaches, and shares the knowledge with heart to aspiring artists.

Some of the her most recent roles in Musical Theater include "Petra" the Kit Kat Girl in Cabaret and Anita in West Side Story at Woodbridge Community Players. She is honored to have been a nominee for her outstanding performance in featured role “Daniela” from In The Heights with Perth Amboy and a scholarship winner at Papermill Playhouse’s 2015 Rising Star Awards. She is currently performing her own original music on both the East and West Coast.

 

Amanda loves building positive connections and being able to bring light to others. A goal of hers is to help others expand upon their love for music, find their unique selves through it, and believe in what is possible. Amanda dares to use her voice, striving to aspire to inspire without limits.
